You can not put E85 Ethanol fuel into a car not designed for itas the Ethanol fuel (ethyl alcohol), {the same type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages} will destroy the fuel system ( "O" rings , lines, ect...)
I think that depend on the engine type and/or the country whwre is has been bought. I am looking for the same info for my Lanos, to be more precise, the tyre width.
On 01 Daewoo lanos 1.6l USA, the crankshaft position sensor it location on passenger side under car to the rear of a round gear called the crankshaft.it will be very close to this gear but will not be touch it as it uses the "Hall Effect" to detect the position of the crankshaft. This sensor should be location in the same location of all year models of lanos 99-02
Same as any newer car. Step 1, swap relay for one next to it that matches model #, driver side, under hood. If that doesn't work, With an ear at fuel tank, turn on key. You should hear it. If not, that's a great start, 99 out of 100 times it is the fuel pump failed.
If it is the same as the 2000 Daewoo Lanos, it will be located inside the car on the passenger side. You will have to remove most of the lower dash (black plastic) to find it, there are about 30 (7 mm) screws that need to get removed and the fan will have to come out to access the expansion valve block. The expansion valve itself is held in place with (2) 8mm bolts.
I have the same problem with no codes I'm going towards the ECT sensor ..My plugs are wet gas fouled
I have A 99 daewoo Lanos with the same problem. I took apart my dash to find that the control cable has a broken shield over it. to easly check this your self just above the gas peddle and to the right there is your heater box on the side ov it is a control lever for diferant settings see if you can move it. Sounds like the thrust bearing is worn, gearbox out to change this, may as well change clutch at same time.
in fuel tank, after pull out the rear seat you will able to find the same.
Yes, there is a lamp for the fuel. It is on the same line, where all other lamps are lokated, in the right end of the line.
I had the same problem with mine, I found a web sit with all the codes, all I did was google "codes for daewoo radio" and I found it.
