passengers side front by tire -- look under explorer at frame youll see metal plate with 3 screws remove plate then remove another plate and theres filter remember to be carefull of r clips and get special tool to help out removing other side of filter retaining clips inside of line should be 3/8 hope all goes well do not force clips
