Here's what you need to do: First you need to go to the Pal Park in the Kanto region, the you save your game. Now, you stick your Gameboy game into the bottom slot of the Ds. When you get to Lugia swimming on the opening of the game, DONT hit continue game. Go down and you shall see "Migrate from whatever Gameboy game you have" then it will say do you want to migrate Pokemon? Once they are there, you cannot take them back. Say yes, the choose skitty and 5 other Pokemon out of your PC box. Migrate them, then go inside the Pal park, and your skitty and other 5 pokemon will be inside the grass. Depends on how you see it, all you need to do is have a Pokemon in a box. So you technically have to have access to pokeballs. Other than that once you have a Pokemon in a box just save and restart the game and the third option at the main menu will be to connect to pokewalker and just follow their instructions.
