Spock. Period.
The Empire and the Borg The Federation and the Rebels from Star wars are good guys and would become allies in fighting the bad guys.
Klingons are a race of proud warrior aliens who look like humans with bumpy foreheads. They're bad guys in the original Star Trek series, but the Federation (the good guys) makes peace with them by the time of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
That's just the type of thing that they prefer. The storyline of Star Trek may not appeal to them as much as the storyline of Star Wars. On Star Trek the good guys are not all good, and the bad guys are not all bad. Some people may be uncomfortable with this character shading which mirrors real life, and they prefer the straightforward good versus evil conflict of Star Wars. I think that clever peole like star trek and the rest of you just like the violence in star wars.
They are expendable. It's just a running gag.
You may be referring to the Star Trek: The Next Generation crew on a Holodeck, sailing on a 19th century naval ship (also called the Enterprise). That film is Star Trek: Generations. The characters that were present in that scene are Captain Picard, Commander Riker, Commander Data, Commander LaForge, Lt. Commander Worf, Counsellor Troi, and Dr. Crusher.

"Charlie X" , the titular character did this in response to his dislike of others laughing at him .
There is a song in the musical "Guys and Dolls" called "Sit Down, You're Rocking The Boat" which I recommend. Other than that, I know of few good and funny songs about boats. I suppose that some people enjoy "Row, row, row your boat" but personally I find it boring (although it does appear in a Star Trek movie, and Mr. Spock objects; life is not a dream).
