Bromantic (possibly conjoining of the words 'Brother' and 'Romantic') is a heterosexual male's feelings of platonic love for another man. To illustrate my point, some examples of Bromantic relationships are: Joey and Chandler (Friends), Oscar and Felix (The Odd Couple), Dr. House and Dr. Wilson (House), Kirk and Spock (Star Trek), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid), and Hawkeye and Trapper John (M.A.S.H.). I'm sure there are more Bromantic examples out there but you get the idea that this is a strong and loyal bond between straight guys; therefore it's not to be confused (no pun intended) with homosexual relationships.
