With teenagers and young children, it is possible. teenagers currently having mood swings and strong emotions, can actually attract poltergeists, as their moods are so erratic. Young children are most sensitive to spirit activity, they have "imaginary friends" and claim to "see" people that arent really there. Teenagers are sensitive aswell, but their ever-changing moods could actually attract the poltergeists.
