Yes..
It is the first ever tablet to ever be just so practical... It's too easy for mac it seems....
It's NOT just a large iTouch, and even if it as, that isn't bad. The iTouch makes it easy to surf the web, send emails, and use apps. Even if the iPad was just a bigger iTouch, and I'm not saying it is, but if it was, you get the amazing touch screen experience of Surfing the web but 6 times faster, with a larger screen, and easier. The keyboard is so big that typing is almost as fast as a normal keyboard.
The iPad is different though. It's like a macbook mixed with an iTouch. Surfing the web but with a touch screen....
The iPad will change the way we look at computers.
**Also, have you ever watched a Harry Potter movie, and seen those really cool magical newspapers that have moving images..... Well..... That's the iPad for you.
Once the iPad is OS compatible, it will be one of the greatest technological innovation in decades. For now, since it is starting at only $499 and is a beautiful Apple product, no one should be complaining, especially since Apple never hyped it up. Everyone was saying that "Apple got us all worked up and it doesn't even come wit ha camera." Boohoo guys..... Apple never even advertised it. If your upset that it doesn't have a camera and doesn't support flash yet, tell it to $499. 93% of the flash you see is advertisements, so it increases the speed of web surfing.
The multitasking problem is not a problem. Just because it can't multitask yet, doesn't mean an update won't come soon.
Innovation is creating something that didn't exist before you created it. The iPad is an example of innovation for Apple. For other examples of innovation see innovation-creativity.com/examples-of-innovation.html
There are numerous iPad accessories available on the market today. A few of the most popular are the Cinema Seat iPad, the iPad projector, The Hypermac Stand, and the Book iPad Case.
The fact that more innovation takes place within a market system is due to the increased competition in the free market. As any firm is able to enter and exit the market, firms have to work hard to maintain their profitable status. This is among others done by innovation; creating new, profitable products with which they can gain a great market share and stay in business. Being innovative and reacting to changing circumstances and emerging opportutinities are the key factors for the survival of the firm. In a centrally planned economy however, this discipline of the market is less present and hence there is less incentive for innovation. Only one supplier (the government) is present and has all market power, so why should it bother about innovation to increase its profitable status or make its products more attractive? Consumers have no choice anyway.
Technically an Ipad is not an "Invention" it is a product. An invention is defined as "a useful process, or machine that did not exist previously", an Ipad is a tablet and tablets HAVE existed before the Ipad. The Ipad is just a tablet that has been greatly updated.

It means that the innovation of the product is lead by "new science" being developed, i.e. new technology leads to the production of a new product, as a pose to market pull innovation, where the market has a need, and science is developed to support the need.
Samsung don't make the iPad. Nor do Apple but they market it as their product.
