Christopher Nolan has stated that Joker will not be appearing in the next film due to Heath Ledger's passing. He has heard the rumors about other actors doing it for him or the possibility of CGI being used- but apparently he is not interested in either one. So Joker is not to be seen again since his arrest in "The Dark Knight".
Joker
It depends. what do you mean by joker? The only two i know is a joker in playing cords which in real life is a jester. The second one is the joker from batman who is one of the enemies.
It depends... Sometimes the Joker is completely helpless and is weak but in other cases he is has equal strength to Batman or sometimes even more! In the end: You'd have to go by the majority of times Joker's beaten Batman in a fight.
No, Batman and the Joker are not brothers. Batman, also known as Bruce Wayne, is a vigilante fighting crime in Gotham City, while the Joker is his arch-nemesis and a chaotic criminal. Their relationship is often depicted as one of deep psychological conflict, with the Joker embodying the chaos that opposes Batman's quest for order and justice. While they share a complex and intertwined history, they are not related by blood.

The Joker has been portrayed by Cesar Romero in the Batman TV series, Jack Nicholson in Tim Burton's Batman, Andrew Koenig in the 2003 Sandy Collora film Batman: Dead End, and Heath Ledger in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, for which Ledger won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. Larry Storch, Mark Hamill, Kevin Michael Richardson and Jeff Bennett have provided the voice for the character in animated form.
The 1989 one because the Joker has scars on his face. Here's 2 ways Joker 1989 beat up the Dark Knight Joker: He punched him and knocked him out. He shakes his hand.
The 1989 Batman movie with Michael Keaton as Batman. Directed by Tim Burton.
In the animated movie "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" Joker turns Tim Drake (a previous Robin) into a psycho-Joker-kid-thing. There's two versions of his death. One version shows Tim point the gun at Joker, have the "BANG!" flag come out, then shoot out and stab him. The other version has Tim drop the gun, get Joker wet, and push him into an electrical generator, which shocks & kills him. About 30(?) years later, there is a "new" Joker in Gotham, which is actually Tim Drake who had a microchip in the back of his neck which caused him to turn back and forth between himself and the Joker. After Batman figured this out, he shorted out the microchip, changing Tim Drake back to normal, and defeating the Joker.
The Joker doesn't die because if you watch at the end batman uses his grappling gun and ties him upside down. Two-Face/Harvey Dent is the one who dies at the end of The Dark Knight he dies when batman dives for Commissioner Gordon's son.
