Christopher Nolan has stated that Joker will not be appearing in the next film due to Heath Ledger's passing. He has heard the rumors about other actors doing it for him or the possibility of CGI being used- but apparently he is not interested in either one. So Joker is not to be seen again since his arrest in "The Dark Knight".
The Joker
The third and final film is coming out in 2012.
The episode is titled "Joker's Millions" episode 7 of The New Batman Adventures not to be confused with Batman the Animated Series
yes he spontaniously combusted
It didn't happen in The New Batman Adventures. Look up Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, it's a movie that takes place in the Batman Beyond timeline. Barbara Gordon has a flashback as she tells the new batman (Terry Mcginnis) what happened to them after Tim Drake/Robin was kidnapped and tortured by the joker for 3 weeks. *It shows the flashback in a 10 minute clip*
If you are talking about Batman Arkham City then yes. If you're talking about Batman Arkham Asylum, then no.
In the New Batman Adventures Mister J appears in: Joker's Millions Mad Love Beware the Creeper and World's Fnest part One, Two and Three
While The Joker will not appear in the new Batman movie, he will appear in "Suicide Squad" played by Jared Leto, which is due for release in August 2016.
Heath Ledger
big bad batman
That really depends on which animated version. The 60s cartoon, Superfriends, Batman TAS/New Adventures of Batman, Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker, The Batman, or The Brave & the Bold?Let's say you're talking about TAS. It was based on the Tim Burton movie, which replaced Joe Cool with Jack Napier (faux name). That Joker looked about 20 when Batman was about 10, so if Bruce was 20-30 as Batman, then the Hamill-Joker was 30-40. But in the comics, the Joker could easily be the same age or even younger than Bruce Wayne.
Well, yes. The joker is dead, because he had suffered from a disease that was eating at his body, slowly killing him, in Arkham City. Plus, Arkham City had a NEW Joker voice actor, so it WAS the death of the joker, hypothetically.Yes. He was killed by Batman a long time ago... (Accidentally of course) But this doesn't mean he hasn't/won't come back...
