A Lunar Eclipse
A satellite stops being visible when it moves into the earth's shadow.
Solar - moons shadow falls on earth.Lunar - earths shadow falls on moon.
That would be a lunar eclipse.
lunar eclipse
shadow draw That state of affairs is called Lunar Eclipse.
The moon is let by the sun, with parts of it being obscured when it is in Earths shadow. The part in Earths shadow changed daily, leading to the visible phases of the moon. The entire cycle takes approximately 29 days.
The Moon does, most noticeably during an eclipse. Smaller satellites are tougher, try this experiment: use a golf ball and hold it outside on a sunny day or a cloudy day and then move it closer or farther from the ground. The visible shadow changes based on condition and naturally the size of the satellite --------------- no, too small. The sunlight refracts off of the atmosphere and 'fills in' the shadow cast far before it reaches the surface.
The moon darkens because it passes through Earths shadow.
You can't... at the moment, Shadow is merely an assist trophy.
