left
the number one piston is on the left of you when facing the vehicle, it is the right side or passenger side and it must be at TDC for timing settings. (FENIX)
Number one piston is on the left front looking from front of car and firing order is 15426378 piston sequence is left 1234 right 5678 from front of car
The #1 is usually the piston that's slightly ahead left or right at the front of the engine ? http://rayducharme.ws/
First on the left OR right, depends where you are standing......... No1 piston is the nearest one to the drivers compartment and No4 being at the front of the car.
front left drivers side is correct.
Front Right (Passenger)
No need to when disassembling.
It's the front (front of the engine is front of the car) piston on the right side of the engine.
in your question it is on the right but on a number line it is right from zero.
if you see the engine from the crankshaft pulley the piston number one is the first of your left then the number two i the first of your right and in this way until the number six, the numbers 1,3 and 5 are in your left and the 2, 4, and 6 are in your right. the firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6
standing facing engine first one on left
That would be a neat trick. The piston will not fit into the distributor cap. Remove intake and left side head (bank 1) the #1 piston is closest to front.
