yes it requires a data plan.
No! but its a phone suitable for business person that wants a cool phone that wont require a data plan
The Pantech Crossover is simple and easy to use. Plus, it features a physical keyboard for quick and easy typing and input. With that in mind, a person that likes simplicity and does not need a fancy smartphone will love this device. It is still a smartphone, but it looks much more like an older device but with newer features. A person will feel comfortable using this smartphone and will not have any troubles with the keyboard since it is less erring than a touchscreen. Without a doubt, a person will need an unlimited texting and data plan for this phone though.
No it does not :)

Yes, the Pantech Matrix Pro does require a monthly data plan. However, you can enable the data plan when you first receive the phone but then after you get it, call your company (probably AT&T) and tell them you want it removed. You get to keep the phone ;)

To fix MMS sending and receiving problems on the Pantech Hot Shot, first ensure that your mobile data is enabled, as MMS requires a data connection. Check the APN settings in your device’s network settings, and make sure they match those provided by your carrier. Restarting your phone can also help resolve temporary issues. If problems persist, consider contacting your carrier for further assistance.
