What is oxygen rich?

"Oxygen rich" means lots of oxygen. If the air in a room is "oxygen rich" things will burn better. "Oxygen poor" means there isn't much and "oxygen starved" means there is none or almost none.

Is chembakolli poor or rich?

Where do gases exchange?

The pathway of the circulatory system varies based on different species. The mammalian cardiovascular system begins with the pulmonary circuit. The right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs via the pulmonary arteries. As the blood flows through capillary beds in the lungs, it adds oxygen and subtracts carbon dioxide. Oxygen-rich blood comes from the lungs via the pulmonary veins to the left atrium of the heart. Next the oxygen-rich blood flows into the left ventricle as the ventricle opens and the atrium closes. The left ventricle pumps the oxygen-rich blood out of the body tissues through the systemic circuit. Blood leaves the left ventricle through the aorta, which passes blood to arteries leading throughout the body. The first branches from the aorta are the coronary arteries which provide blood that the heart muscle needs. Then come branches leading to capillary beds in the forelimbs. The aorta continues, supplying oxygen-rich blood to arteries leading to arterioles and capillary beds in the abdominal organs and legs. Inside the capillaries, oxygen and carbon dioxide diffuse along their concentration gradients with oxygen being moved from the blood to the tissues. Carbon dioxide produced by cellular respiration diffuses into the bloodstream. Capillaries join again, forming venules, which give blood to veins. Oxygen-poor blood from the head, neck, and forelimbs is guided into a large vein called the anterior vena cava. Another large vein called the posterior vena cava drains blood from the chest and back legs. The two venae cavae empty their blood into the right atrium and the oxygen-poor blood flows into the right ventricle.

What is air rich in?

OXYGEN

What pumps oxygen-rich blood to the body?

I think you meant "through the body". if that is so: the heart does, it pumps oxygen poor blood to your lungs. then the blood absorbs the oxygen with the help of diffusion. this is like smoke: smoke doesn't stay together, it goes to places where no smoke is. the same counts for your blood, there is no oxygen in it so the oxygen goes into your veins. then the heart pumps it around the body until the oxygen is used up. the process will start over again.Your heart.

Where does an artery carry oxygen poor blood?

The pulmonary artery carries oxygen poor blood and the pulmonary vein carries oxygen rich blood.

Does the pulmonary artery in adults carry oxygen rich blood or oxygen poor blood?

poor

What does a pulmonary artery carry that a pulmonary vein doesn't?

The pulmonary artery carries oxygen-poor blood. The pulmonary vein carries oxygen-rich blood.

The blood now rich in oxygen re enters the heart though the pulmonary?

When blood that is rich in oxygen re enters the heart, the blood enters through the pulmonary valve. The pulmonary valve brings the oxygen rich blood to the pulmonary trunk of the pulmonary artery.

What two components in the Circulatory System have oxygen-rich blood and oxygen-poor blood respectively?

The right atrium and ventricle of the heart, as well as veins, contain oxygen-poor blood. The left atrium and ventricle, as well as the arteries, contain oxygen-rich blood. One exception to this is the pulmonary vein and artery, which are reversed - pulmonary artery contains oxygen-poor blood and pulmonary vein contains oxygen-rich blood.

Does a frog's pulmonary artery carry oxygen-rich blood?

I'm pretty sure that the frogs pulmonary artery carries oxygen poor blood to the lungs.

Do arteries carry oxygen-rich blood to capillaries?

Systemic Arteries carry oxygen rich blood (also called oxygenated blood). Pulmonary Arteries carry oxygen poor (deoxygenated) blood

Can a blood vessel be defined as an artery or a vein by the type of blood it carries?

An Artery caries Oxygen Rich blood and a Vein carries Oxygen Poor blood, but not by definition because the Pulmonary Arteries carry Oxygen Poor blood and the Pulmonary Veins carry Oxygen Rich blood, (these vessles can be found between the heart and the lungs).

Does the pulmonary artery in adults carry 02-rich or 02-poor?

O2 poor. Pulmonary veins carry O2 rich blood.

Does the circumflex artery carry oxygen rich or poor blood?

All arteries carry blood that is rich in oxygen except those arteries that carry blood to the lungs called the pulmonary arteries.

Which pulmonary blood vessels carry oxygen-rich blood?

The pulmonary veins carries oxygen rich blood from the lungs to the heart.

What are the parts of the circulatory system where oxygen-poor blood is found?

In the circulatory system, deoxygenated blood is found on the right side of the heart, in the pulmonary artery, and in the systemic veins. The pulmonary artery brings low-oxygen blood to the lungs. The systemic vein carry deoxygenated blood from the body tissues to the right atrium.
