Expressly indicated.

Article Two, Section 4 of the Constitution states:

"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and misdemeanors."

In addition, Article One, Section 2, Clause 5 indicates that the House shall have the power to impeach, while Article One, Section 3, Clause 6 indicates the Senate shall try all impeachments.

In addition, the Constitution also expressly states that both houses of Congress shall have the power to regulate (i.e. discipline and/or expel) any of their own members.
