No. You're confusing the secondary structure with the primary structure. The primary is just the sequence of amino acids bonded by peptide bonds. The secondary takes into account those arrangements and the strand becomes coiled (alpha helix) or pleated (beta-pleated sheet). The secondary structure is held together by hydrogen bonds.
