No; it will be protected by copyright for the life of Leslie Bricusse plus 70 years in most countries (some countries protect for 50-100 years after the creators' deaths, but as he is still alive, it hardly matters).

Who sings the chorus of the song good feeling?

Nina simone amongst others It was written by Anthony newley and Leslie bricusse 1965? The song was written by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley for their second musical The Roar of the Greasepaint - the Smell of the Crowd. The original British cast was led by Norman Wisdom. Ct Grant was cast as The Negro and it was he who performed the song Feeling Good. The show had its pre-London tour through Nottingham, Liverpool and Manchester, between 10 August and 3 October 1964. A venue was arranged for London at the Shaftesbury Theatre, but the show never made it. It was taken to America with Anthony Newley in the lead. After a pre-Broadway tour through several cities, it reached New York in May 1965 and ran until December. The writers had worked to ensure that the songs would have a life outside of the production and a dozen of them did so being covered by a host of singers and musicians. In the original productions the number was performed in a softer, reflective style. It is a great pity that it is now better known in belting, pulsating performances of Nina Simone, Bouble, et al. In such renditions it has lost the message of Leslie Bricusse's lyrics and the plaintive simplicity of Anthony Newley's melody. Anyone wishing to hear the number as it should be sung, can do no better than listen to Newley's own version. It makes you realise how much we miss him.
