The starter motor is held into the gearbox with 3 bolts and a bracket at the other end. This bracket needs removing before you undo the 3 main bolts as the starter wont come off with this bracket on.Make sure you know where the wires go when you put it back together

The starter motor is getting stuck. Take it out a copper grease the shaft put it back and see if that cures it. It did on mine.
