I have been looking for a long time to this answer, I do not have a definite one, but logic could conclude that since the fruit itself is the ovary, as the cherry is an angiosperm pit inside is the 'egg') the stem could possibly be the pistil. The top would be the stamen, then style, then the bottom, the fruit, would be the ovary. This is my conclusion. I would recommend a little more research, as I have found no specific answer to this question.
