No, the sun does not move, and the rays are not changing. The sun merely provides heat, not causing global warming. The thinning ozone and greenhouse gases trap the heat and cause global warming.

The sun IS causing global warming, but only indirectly. Excessive amounts of carbon dioxide produced by humans, burning fossil fuels, etc are released into the atmosphere and once there, they trap heat from sunlight, keeping it here, instead of releasing it back into space, and thus, raising the temperature of the earth. So, yes it is, but indirectly.

Also sunspots can increase the temperature but only while they are active which happens once every 11 years in a cycle.

As the primary source of energy supplied to the planet Earth, the sun's rays most definitely would be involved in any global warming. Without them, the Earth would cool continuously to almost the background temperature of space. It wouldn't cool completely down the background temperature because there is some small amount of natural heating occurring from the decay of radioactive minerals, but that source is so minuscule compared to the sun that it is negligible compared to the sun.

The sun's rays are trapped by greenhouse gases which prevent their heat radiating back out to space. As the greenhouse gases increase they trap more and more of the sun's heat. This is causing an enhanced greenhouse effect which is the cause of global warming.

Yes, the sun warms the earth and global warming means that the earth is warming up. This is happening because we cut down too many forests and we also used oil and coal to run our cars and factories. This is putting extra greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and this is the problem.

The sun provides the original heat for global warming, but the cause of global warming is the increased level of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, because of our burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) in industry, transport and the generation of electricity.

No, the sun is not affected by global warming. Global warming is happening on the earth and its effects are confined to our world

Global Warming on earth only affects the earth. It has no effect on the sun.

Are jaguars affected in global warming?

There is no evidence that shows jaguars are being affected by climate change.

Is global warming a cause or a effect of climate change?

Global warming is the cause of climate change.Climate change is the result of global warming.

What is climate change global warming causing?

"Climate Change" and "Global Warming" are not the same, though related. Global Warming causes Climate Change. With Global Warming we understand the warming of the earth's global temperature. That warming has in turn an effect on the earth's global climate and on more localized climates (like the climate of England or Western US).

What is a word or phrase that has the same meaning as global warming?

The answer you are looking for is climate change. However, the question is incorrect. Global warming is not the same as climate change. Global warming is the warming of the earth. Climate change is the result of this warming.

Is greenhouse effect is the other name of global warming?

Strictly speaking there is no other name for global warming."The whole earth heating up" might be another name.Global warming is causing climate change, so many people think they are both the same, so they say:"Climate change is another name for global warming", but they are not really the same.

What is usually caused by global warming?

Climate change is caused by global warming.

Is climate change a rise in the temperature of the earth?

No, global warming is a rise in the temperature of the earth. Global warming is causing climate change.

Why are polar bears a cause of global warming?

Polar bears are not a cause of global warming. They are being affected by climate change in that their habitat is decreasing in size (as the sea ice is melting).

Why do some people want to call global warming climate change?

Climate change sounds a bit more benign than global warming. However, the two things are not the same. Climate change is actually the result of global warming.

How do humans contribute to climate change not including global warming?

Humans are contributing to global warming (by burning fossil fuel and cutting down forests) and global warming is CAUSING climate change.

What is global warming activity?

Global warming refers to the long term increase of the earths temperature. It is directly linked to climate change but is not an interchangeable term for it.

Why is the phenomenon called global warming more accurately described as climate change?

It is not. They are not both the same, in fact, they are cause and effect. Global warming is the warming of the earth. This warming is causing climate change.
