no i don't believe it is Riu is one of a chain of new spanish hotels that have attracted the majority of the graduates of local hospitality training centres while the Grande is known for taking its fair share of trainees to get them accustommed to the job. also the property of Riu is more modern and geared towards the more modern tourist than Jamaica Grand.
