call auto zone and have them look up both parts and see if part numbers are same.
no,the specs. are not the same.
Follow your top radiater hose, its inside the thermostat cover,2 bolts hold it on,put the new one in the same way as the old .
I asked a mechanic and he said yes as long as both have the same speeds and same cilinders. Hope this helps
No
remove some of your antifreeze, disconnect fitting at end of top radiator hose, remove thermostat and scrap off gasket and clean both surfaces, check new thermostat in 180 degrees water to make sure it opens and closes, then put your gasket sealent on both surfaces and your thermostat on the same way it came off and bolt it back on and add more antifreeze and crank it and make sure its not leaking.
ABSOLUTLEY!!!! it is the same engine , havent you actually looked and compared? in fact this same engine (KA24E) is in early 240s. good luck with your swap!
Well It depends. The engine might be a little different, the the instuments should be the same. Also, a 1990 pickup and a 1992 Pathfinder are pretty much the same in instuments.
they are the same truck, look em up at autozone.com,youll see what i am saying. D21 is the Official Nissan Designation of the Truck. Hardbody is the "Nickname"
drain coolant to below thermostat housing level, remove the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing, remove the tow bolts from the thermostat housing, nremove old thermostat (note position and repace new in same position) clean off all old gasket material, apply gasket sealant to both sides of new gasket, (make sure you have wiped off any coolant that may have spilled when you removed housing) then replace everything you removed. note if you have an o ring with your thermostat, you wont have gasket.
To the person that ask the question just follow the top hose back to the engine. Then remove the hosing that connects the hose to the engine and the thermostat will be there. Remove it and the gasket and replace the new thermostat and gasket the same way the old one came off.
My husband has the same truck and it only has 90,000 miles on it and he blew a head gasket yesterday. Do you have any suggestions?
Check your fuses.
