You mean a 1992 Taurus SHO... yes all the MTX transmissions are the same from 1989 to 1995. the regular Ford Taurus does not have a standard transmission.
about 25 US gallons depending on the year. I HAD A 1991 CAPRICE POLICE PACKAGED. IT HAD A 23 GALLON TANK. My 1991 Caprice (Plain jane, rounded version) has a 23 gallon tank - I imagine it's the same for the "Classic" edition. Hope that helps some - Kenny
Unfortunately, no. The 1991 Taurus / Sable had a one-of-a-kind transmission. They are only intertchangable with the same year and car family. There are some early 1992 cars that have the same transmission as the 1991. A transmission shop could give you more information.
