No. For one, saltwater crocodiles don't live where hippos do, and it's rare for a saltwater to get over 33.3 feet in length, or at least find one and verify it. The highest recorded length of a salty is only around 25 feet long. And really, the length of a croc as absolutely NOTHING to do with how capable it is of killing a larger animal like a hippo!!
Saltwater crocodiles are heavier. The average is 720 pounds, and 14 ft. Nile crocodiles average 500 pounds, and 14 ft.
Elephants are much bigger. The world's largest saltwater crocodile is 23 ft long and 3000 pounds. The elephant can grow 3-8 tons.
No. Hippos can still grow to be a bit larger than even the largest species of croc in the world.
Croc.
The Crocodile Could Eat The Hippo But The Hippo Could Get The Crocodile Away With TheBreath...... I believe they would both win. ------ I personally think it depends on the size and age of both. ----- A hippo would win because it could put a foot ontop of the crocodile's mouth and then the crocodile wouldn't be able to move its mouth.
Crocodiles are bigger the largest alligators are usually 16-19ft long while for crocodiles in exremelly rare cases saltwater crocodiles have exceeded 27ft(8meters) in the wild.In general, crocodiles are the larger species. This however, does depend on the individual. American Aliigators can grow up to 18 feet, the Gharial grows up to about 20 feet, as does the Nile and Mugger Crocodiles. The largest species of all 23 of the Crocodilians is the Saltwater Crocodile which has been known to reach lengths of 24 feet.It depends on the species, but the largest croc is the bigger than the largest alligator.
No. But, a hippo calf has a higher chance of getting killed by a crocodile.

1 is the saltwater crocodile with the worldβs strongest jawβs since the Dino ages it was known to be the strongest chamber in the world and their bone braking tail. 2 the African hippo with those large tuskβs they can surely beat their Nile crocodiles. 3 the Nile crocodile the Nile crocodile is also an African animal but their not as big and powerful as the Aussie saltwater.
Hippo. Hippos are always the most aggressive and tenacious than any crocodile will ever be, regardless of how big it is.
actually a hippo is heavier
A male hippo versus a male croc, gotta go with the hippo. They have been seen killing crocs. crocs rule.i have seen hippos cant stand a chance against saltwater crocodile nor nile crocodile. you seem to notice that crocs are eaten by anacondas.but crocs which are eaten are caimans. anaconda cant eat big huge crocs. The two normally avoid each other, but adult hippos, especially males, will drive crocs away from the area if the croc appears to become aggressive. Male hippos do kill crocs.
None, not even the nile crocodile, the second lagest crocodile in the world, will take on the hippo.

Crocodiles are scared of hippos. However the giant nile crocodile Gustav was observed killing an adult hippo.
