As you should know, 4 strokes are heavier than 2 strokes. the yz250f is a 4 stroke. yet it does have an aluminum frame and it is a 2009 and it is a very high tech race bike. Yes it is heavy, all dirtbikes are "heavy", but the yz250f is a GREAT bike and forsure lighter than alot of race bikes. Any yz250f older 2005 is a steal frame, too heavy. 2006 and up are light and fast!
yes, the dirt bike doesnt have to do with it. It depends on the tire size, and yes they both have the same size tires in frount and rear.
neither,the yz250f is a four cycle bike...
Sell it and buy a Yamaha yz250f
A 2009 yz 250f is 32mm
Extremely reliable bike that will give you years of service if you take care of it. You do know this is more of a motocross bike than just a trail bike.
yes, but it will be hard to do. I have a friend who did that same thing. he did it him self. But the 2004 frame is a steal frame (heavy), and the 2007 comes off of an aluminum frame.
Your a little to small for those get a CRF150R
It is a heavy bike ... so what is the real question?
if you have an owners manual tht would be really easy, if not... It depends on what year, you can look up the manual on how to do it by the year of your bike
The Yamaha YZ250F is a great bike in its series. It comes equipped with race ready suspension, and is one of the best motocross bikes Yamaha has made with a 250cc engine. A new one retails for approximately $7200.
go with the four stroke less mantainice = cheper in the long run
i have the cr125 and my friend has a 2006 cr250f and i beat him in a straight drag. he beats me in top speed and his bike is much better in the trails
