Based on Marine Corps Order P1020.34G, the RAT, (Rugged All-Terrain) boots made by Danner are authorized for wear in the Marine Corps utility uniform.Paragraph 3012.2c states that "Optional MCCBs with a Marine Corps approval identification number (see fig. 1-4) and Marine Corps emblem on the outside heel of the boot are authorized for wear with the utilityuniform and will meet the minimum requirement."Unless there is an order (unit, batallion, base, etc.) that prohibits Marines within that command structure , you are authorized to wear them provided they meet the requirements listed in the order. If you want to get really technical and spend a lot of time researching the boot you can contact Danner or Marine Corps Systems Command to get a copy of the boot's certification dated 23 June 2010.

There is only one true way out of Marine Corps Boot Camp. That is to walk across the parade deck with your head held high, and graduate a Marine. Otherwise there are consequences to deal with. i.e. Other Then Honorable Discharges, or General Under Honorable Conditions.
That depends on what service you join. The Marine Corps is approx 13 weeks.
No, you don't. If you go through Marine Corps Bootcamp, and you get out. You don't have to go through any other services Basic Training. But if you were to get out of any other branch and join the Marines, you would have to go through Marine Corps bootcamp.
You EAS out of the Air Force and join the Marines. You have to go through Marine Boot Camp, all 13 Weeks of it, but you get to keep some of your ribbons from the Air Force, and if your a high enough rank in the AF, you can graduate as a LCPL. See your nearest Marine Corps Recruiter for details. If you have a specialty that that the Marine Corps is begging for, some after Boot Camp special consideration may be considered in your contract.
Marine Corps Boot Camp is a thirteen week ordeal. Drill Instructors, despite their formidable skill and training have found that a shorter period of time is inadequate for them to put all of the parts back together that required over a month for them to completely disassemble in order to remove the defective civilian lurking within a recruit's body. Despite the dire warning that is given by Marine Recruiters, some individuals refuse to believe that Boot Camp will be a physical and mental challenge.
