In addition, there is also a South African hard-rock band called Lithium.

Nirvana was my favorite rock band in the 90's. Lithium used to be No.1 on my playlist! It's from their 1991 album, Nevermind.
The name of a binary compound made up lithium and chlorine is lithium chloride.
nucleus... if it is still "lithium". Otherwise, it is 3 protons and some neutrons, depending on the isotope of lithium.
the answer in a chemistry test is always A!
The song Lithium is about fighting depression and coming out of it. Lithium is used by doctors to treat bipolar patients. Technically, Lithium is used to treat the mania associated with bi-polar disorder, not depression, but other drug names aren't nearly as lyrical (Nortryptyline, Buporprion, etc). Interestingly thought lithium won't have any effect on the actual depression or normal individuals in regards to their mood. It will just make you very very thirsty and need to pee a bunch. If you really over dose, which is very easy to do, you can also have symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, seizures, vomiting, coma, etc. Not fun stuff to mess with unnecessarily.
