I have not heard of this breed, and it is not listed as a recognized breed by the American Rabbit Breeder's Association, but maybe it's a local name for another breed. In any case, all rabbits are made of meat. If it's a dwarf breed, there won't be much meat (think cornish hen.) In my opinion the Tennessee red back rabbit is a wild rabbit.
