Socialism is an economic system, and is not tied to any religion. A follower of any religion could favor socialism or oppose it.

The belief in a single Deity is central to Judaism - and is one of the 13 principles of the Jewish Faith. Judaism believes that there is only One G-d and that He has no parts to him; He is indivisible. He has no partners and nobody is in charge of the universe besides for Him.
Holy Socialism!
For the scientific revolution the central belief is that everything can be explained through science and that they need not rely on religion for answers. The Enlightenment was more focused on the ideals that everyone was created equal, the nobleman as well as the peasant.
