there are fuses in the main fuse panel but with the lighter there is a good chance that the fusible link on the back of the lighter itself was the first to go. If this is the case then the lighter adapter itself needs to be replaced. Check your fuse panel for any fried fuses and if none are blown, time to go to the parts store or dealership to replace the adapter.
