Opinion:

Yes, there may be as some believe in circa 5000 BCE there was Krishna - known as Rama. It is claimed that Krishna came to earth to spread the teachings of Rama. Now Krishna came to one person named Arjuna during a war - circa 5th century. Because Sanskirt is believed to be the frist language ever writen - and could possibly be the frist language ever this is considered proof for Krishna as the base belief.

Krishna differs from Christianity only by how the story is told so continuing forward - 2500 BCE or before Christ there was buddha..known as siddhartha. This belief is a lot more like the Bible. Buddha came as prophet of God as the story reads alot like Jesus. It is said Buddha pretty much came to teach how to get to your own path to God - this is also written in sanskrit - sanskrit is a really big language its said to has five word for love.

The one thing Buddha said is when God comes to earth that he shows himself in more then one place. "This is only a teaching of Buddha". Most religions have a lot in common being it come from humans "via its language". All religion is to better one self. Krishna Is to be 5,000 years BCE, Buddha is 2500 BCE. In Hinduism Lord Vishnu has come many thousands of times in many different froms. Where as in Christanity,Jseus came once,But there is text of Elijah who also had the same powers as Jesus. He is only looked at as a prophet not God. Jesus does talk About Elijah in the Bible.
