All countries. The rumor was that the US FDA banned Vegemite because it contains folic acid, which according to the rumor was only allowed to be found in breads and cereals. I note the message doesn't say spinach was also banned by the FDA under the same theory. Spinach is full of the stuff. Anyway, the FDA says they never banned Vegemite. (If they would have banned it, it wouldn't have been on grounds of "folate supplementation" because the folic acid in Vegemite gets there naturally, it would have been because it's made from industrial waste--the layer of used yeast at the bottom of a lager aging vat.
Eggs are not a component of vegemite.
