Yes. They have different regulations concerning smog, and safety. Chevy also makes certain climate type options available geographicaly. Speedo will be nin kilometers, and they have a sticker in the door. When I worked at Chevy, we had to deny warranty on these cars, as to be brought into the U.S., the speedo's had to be changed, negating the mileage. And, they have a much lower trade in value, due to the abovementioned items.
