If you take the class they will give you the same or very similar test and tell you what you need to study to either pass the test or to get a better score on the test. If you do not go to the class you are taken your chances on failing and loosen your money that you paid to take the test and haven to take the test and pay the money again. But there are school where you can take the test free and you only pay if you pass and you get you GED or Diploma

Let me tell you what to look for.

If a school is accredited, it just means that the school is approved by the US Board of Education. Any public school is accredited. If you are looking for an online school, you need to make sure that the school is legit, and not just a diploma mill. But be careful, because many diploma mills will go as far as to create their own fake accrediting agencies, just to seem like they have the proper accreditation.

The information you need is just a phone call away. Call 1-800-62-MYGED (1-800-626-9433) to find your local GED Testing Center. The center can tell you: * Whether you can take the GED Tests * Where to find the Official GED Practice Tests * Where to find a GED instructional program * How much it costs to take the tests * When the tests are given * Other useful information

Difference between associate diploma and advanced diploma?

A diploma at TAFE is a course that takes between 1 (if you're taking fast tracking options) to 1 and a half years to complete. It provides basic classes and lessons that should prepare you for the advanced diploma, assuming you do not drop out after a diploma. An advanced Diploma is usually a 2 year course that covers much harder topics and is more extensive. Advanced Diplomas have the benefit of giving people a much higher chance of getting into Uni than a Diploma. But if you're a high achiever with a Diploma then the chances should both be equal. For example, I am doing Mechanical Engineering as a Diploma and I take Math Basic classes rather than Advanced Mathematics classes. If I get 90+% overall then my chances are equal to that of an advanced diploma into University.
