No they are both the same - when I had to purchase both for my 2002 Kia Sportage both were the same model and I asked the auto store worker and he explained they are the same and receipt shows the same model and I am driving mine daily !

The cost of an oxygen sensor for a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT will cost between $55 and $80. The difference depends on location, dealer, and brand of sensor.
It"s located on the rear manifold, between the firewall and the engine for the upper oxygen sensor(b1s1), and between the catalyst converter and the resonator for the second oxygen sensor (b1s2), between the pipe and the floor.
The oxygen sensor is more commonly known as a lambda sensor at it monitors the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gasses going through the exhaust, the Mass air flow meter monitors the incoming air coming through the air intake before it enters the engine.
From what I understand , the oxygen sensor ( s ) upstream of the catalytic converter is used in the control of the air / fuel ratio . The oxygen sensor downstream of the catalytic converter is called a catalyst monitor and monitors the efficiency of the catalytic converter
An oxygen sensor can be acquired mostly anywhere that auto parts can be purchased. Such as Auto Parts Warehouse, rockauto, AutoZone or even Amazon and Ebay.
metal detector is sensor
bank #1 sensor #2 is the oxygen sensor that is past the catalytic convertor(some mechanics call it the downstream sensor)the sensor is located between the convertor and muffler you can use a 7/8 wrench or a oxygen sensor socket if you have one
There are two oxygen sensor for Mitsubishi Outlander. Front Oxygen Sensor and Rear Oxygen Sensor
oxygen sensor is found either in exhaust manifold or in actual exhaust pipe between manifold and muffler

If the vehicle was built with an oxygen sensor, you will need an oxygen sensor.
