Well a simplified definition of evolution is a process of something changing over time. Darwinian evolution (or biological evolution) pertains to the changing of species over time through the genes, its a chemical and physical process that has to do mainly with the fields of Biology, chemistry, and for a smaller extent (though my field) psychology and the Social Sciences. It's refered to as "darwinian" evolution because Charles Darwin first proposed the idea of evolution by natural selection as a way of explaining the varieties of the species. Cultural evolution refers to the changing of cultures over time. A big proponent of this field is Daniel Dennett who refers to "memes" (originally coined by Richard Dawkins) as the cultural counterpart to genes. Cultural evolutionists argue that cultural phenomon such as fads, sayings, language, or beliefs also undergo a "natural selection" of a sort by having to be continually reproduced or else they are forgotten (the meme equivalent to a species going extinct).
No. These are just tag lines brought up by Creationists to make it seem like evolution has an element of faith. Only people that don't understand evolution ever use those terms.
If someone calls you a Darwinist accept it as a complement and tell them you're also a Newtonist and an Einsteinist. Smile proudly because it means you actually understand the basics of science.

The modern theory of evolution may be referred to as natural selection, Darwinism, the Modern Evolutionary Synthesis, or sometimes simply evolution.
There is no " theory of evolution " as evolution is a fact. The theory is; the theory of evolution by natural selection and explains much about the fact of evolution. Charles Robert Darwin and Alfred Russel Wallace come up with the theory of evolution by natural selection, though natural selection is a phrase coined by Darwin.
The Neo-Darwinian theory includes knowledge of Mendelian and modern molecular genetics. It is, in essence, still the same theory, but refined, expanded to include new understanding.
No theory contradicts evolution. Evolution is the basepoint of all Biology.
That's part of the theory of evolution by natural selection (Darwinism) but not the main principle, and some other (obsolete) theories also included this belief. I don't know if there is a more specific answer, but if you can't find one, just go with natural selection.
Social darwinism
Biological evolution is defined as any genetic change in a population that is inherited. Thats the difference.
The theory of evolution explains the process of biological change and adaptation over generations in living organisms. Language evolution, on the other hand, refers to the development and changes in human languages over time. While both concepts involve change and adaptation over time, they occur in different domains - biological for evolution and linguistic for language evolution.
Theory of evolution refers to animals and plants evolution along the time. Language evolution is another issue, not entirely related to the theory of evolution. It follows the theory of evolution on some way but it is related to culture evolution, not to the physical attributes evolution.
Did you mean Charles Darwin? (Darwinism, Theologists and Philosopher?)
Charles Darwin changed history with his theory of evolution. His theory of evolution suggested that species undergo small changes over time.
The modern theory of evolution may be referred to as natural selection, Darwinism, the Modern Evolutionary Synthesis, or sometimes simply evolution.
Social Darwinism is a theory that applies the principles of natural selection and survival of the fittest to society, suggesting that those who are the most successful in society are naturally selected to thrive, while others are left behind. It has been used to justify inequality, discrimination, and the idea that social progress is driven by competition and individual success. However, it is widely criticized for promoting harmful ideologies and justifying social injustices.
Charles Darwin is the founder of Darwinism and the first one to ever come up with the idea Animal and Plants evolve over time, or the theory of evolution.
Darwin is significant for his theory of evolution through natural selection, which revolutionized our understanding of the development of life on Earth. His work laid the foundation for modern biology and has had a profound impact on fields ranging from genetics to anthropology. Darwin's ideas continue to influence scientific research and contribute to our understanding of the diversity of life.
It wasn't! The theory of evolution by natural selection has nothing to do with social Darwinism and to posit such a connection is ill posed. The theory of evolution by natural selection is about individual selection of organisms and has nothing to do with group to group success in economic terms.
Charles Darwin was the first, mainly known theorizer of evolution. That's why theory involving evolution is known as darwinism.
