Yes, MALTESE. They are also excellent family dogs. I had many puppies and 3 daughters, with not a single incident, nor one pet hair. I now have Standard Poodles, much bigger in size with same qualities and easier to train. Maltese did not want to potty outdoors, was the only negative I can recall.
All dogs shed, even the "hairless" breeds. Some have much more shedding or somewhat less shedding than average, and/or their hair is less noticeable around the house when it falls out (hairs from shorter coats do not pile up as visibly). And some dogs (like Airedale Terriers and other wired hair dogs) shed the usual amount, but most all of the loose hair is held in place by the undercoat and stays there until it is brushed out. Regular brushing is required for all dogs to help contain loose hair and to keep their coats in good condition. Poor coat condition results in more hair loss, and in more dander (the cause of most Allergies).
Some of the smaller breeds (30 pounds or less) known to be light-shedding dogs are:
Affenpinscher, Bedlington Terrier, Bichon Frise, Bolognese, Brussels Griffon, Chinese Crested, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Havanese, Lakeland Terrier, Maltese, Miniature Schnauzer, PBGV (Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen), miniature and toy Poodles, Puli, Shih-Tsu, Welsh Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier.
No, there are no dogs or breeds of dogs that do not shed. Even so called "hairless" dogs have and shed hair, but the hairless breeds would be the type that shed the absolute least.
Mammals shed hair. There are some pure breeds of dogs that shed very little or that shed less or that have short hair that when it is shed it is less visible. Some only shed seasonally. Some shed but it is held in the undercoat until brushed out and, therefore, less noticeable.
Grooming regularly is important for maintaining coat health and a healthy coat is required for the least shedding.
See the related links and related questions below for more information on low shedding dogs.
Well, one dog that doesn't shed (very much) is the Chinese crested. (even powderpuff) You will have to take them to the groomers (or do it your self) to shave their nose and have them brushed. This is just 1 dog there are many more dogs that don't shed. Dogs with longer hair seem to shed less than dogs with shorter hair. (not always) I learned that from exp. and I double checked online to make sure. From a little bit of exp. I know that they shed below the average amount, again I looked on a couple of sites to double check. I know people who have Chinese crested dog(s) and they usually don't shed 2 much)
I hope this helped. I would give you some more breeds, but I don't want to give you a long long list that will make you bored from reading it.
the vizsla is a breed known for having virtually no smell or odor to them. they shed very little and are a great breed for people and children who have allergy problems.
Dogs won't have an odor if you meet their personal grooming needs.
They all shed hair but some of them donβt shed as much.
The standard poodle.
unfortunately no, the dog doesnt go in the dog house. I'ave tried pushing it in but he never does. The dog will only stay in the shed/barn and your house.
No, i have a cute peekapoo who is 14 and he doesnt shed.
I own two lasa opsos who are the harriest dogs. It only depends if the dog has fur or hair. And yes there is a difference! Fur sheds, hair doesnt. Find out at the closest dog haircut store such as K9 clippers. Ask them and they will let you know.

A homophone for "shed" is "shred," which sounds the same but has a different meaning.
shedding actually depends on the breed of dog. for instance, some breeds do not shed at all.
