The starter cable for the 99 Blazer is connected to the battery cable below the battery tray. A plastic box encloses a fuse that connects that battery cable to the starter cable and the chassis power.
You have to disconnect the ground wire from the block. You have to disconnect the positive wire from the starter and the alternator and the powerline going to the fuse box. and connect the new ground then the positive
- Check the battery - Check charging system - Check the starter - Check the ground cable to the starter - Check the fuse(s) for the starter
It runs to the under hood fuse box, the alternator, and the starter.
Dead battery, loose battery cable, failed starter, blown fuse, failed neutral switch,
The starter does not have a fuse, it's wired directly to the battery.
first check battery, then fuses in fuse box, then fusible link.its connected to your positive battery cable,if its burnt or swollen, then replace, also check your starter and alternator and belts.
The wire from the battery to the starter does not include a fuse.
on big post you will have battery cable and a couple of fuse links on small post 1 wire
On many cars the main power cable runs from the battery to the starter, and the power for the rest of the system is taken from there. So if the starter is disconnected, the power cable that goes to the main fuse box, and from there to your windows etc, is probably disconnected from the battery cable.
If there is a smaller wire to the positive battery cable it probably has an inline fuse link in it. The fuse link is embedded in a hard plastic covering on most chevys. There are many causes for link to be bad, keep this in mind if you bypass the fuse link. Recommend replacing the positive battery cable. Ground cable connection should be checked. Do headlights work?
The starter relay is either in the fuse box next to the driver side battery, or is a non serviceable part of the fuse box.The starter relay is either in the fuse box next to the driver side battery, or is a non serviceable part of the fuse box.
