No because the film director tells the people what to do and that is the most important position of all. Without the film director there would me no movies.
An Assistant Director is higher than an Associate Director. So I imagine that the Senior Assistant Director is higher on the chain of command than the Senior Associate Director.
The director is higher ranked. The associate director works for the director. The associate director is the one that has to run errands, and do all the thing that the director doesn't want to do. The associate director is like the directors personal secretary. If I'm wrong about this then let me know. I'm dying to know.
Yes VP is higher than director
A Vice-President is higher than a director.
a director is higher than an agent. hope this helped!
No, A Director has more authority over a manager.
In the United States of America, the producer can be higher or even to the director. In Europe, especially in France and Germany, directors are definitely higher than producers.
The original A Nightmare On Elm Street was directed by Wes Craven and had a small budget of $1.8 million. The second film, A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, had a different director, Jack Sholder and a higher budget of $3 million. It can be assumed that this director had a different imagining of Freddy than Wes Craven, and since Craven had no influence on the film whatsoever, the director was free to do as he pleased. A higher budget could necessarily mean more changes and improvements too.
it is because i am king
Chief Executive Officer, typically. However, in my experience with mid-size corporations, there are various types of directors i.e., marketing/sales, operations, food service, etc. and those positions often report to a Regional Manager, .aka Regional "Director" who in turn reports to the CEO. So, back to my opening statement... Chief Executive Officer is higher than a Director. Hope this helps!
Depends on the organization. In my organization, an Assistant Director, is lower than an Associate Director and an Associate Director lower than a Director.
Director is generally equivalent to AVP. Next is VP and 1st VP is higher than VP but lower than SVP. Strangely enough for companies that have 2nd VP, it is generally lower than VP.
