Not occurring naturally in the wild there is not. Being a hybrid animal it takes a male lion to mate with a female tiger to make a liger and the species to not cross paths naturally.
There may be a possibility of one being in a zoo or wildlife facility.
yes there is a liger in India in rajasthan, near to jaipur in nahargarh rescue centre.............
Liger's do not live in the wild only in captivity. A lion and a tiger don't breed in the wild and the offspring are sterile.
It is unknown as to who "invented" the liger, but records show that they existed back in the early 19th century in India and Asia.

All of the people who have ligers say it was an accident. There is maybe one record in India of ligers, and this is the only area they could have met. Most of them were complete accidents.

It depends on how you look at a liger. If you feel that a liger is not wildbecause they are bred in captivity then no they are not endangered. If you feel a liger is a wild animal then ligers everywhere are endangered.
