There use to be, back in the 70's I bought a pair at a 76 truck stop that had a rotary wiper that was just below the middle of the mirror, and a line situated between the middle of the mirror and top to align with the back of your trailer you were hauling, to give you a reference that the back of the trailer has made it past the truck you were passing.
