There is no modern English translation of the original texts, because the originals were lost many centuries ago, and the earliest known manuscripts are too rare and precious to be used other than for research purposes. Perhaps the best modern English translation that includes the apocrypha is the New American Bible.

All modern Bibles contain some translation errors, whether from Greek to English, Greek to Latin or Latin to English. Modern Bibles also contain interpolations now known not to be in the earliest manuscripts, but the NAB may sometimes provide footnotes when this occurs.

Catholic Bibles, the New American Bible included, contain the Additions to Esther. These are acknowledged additions that were certainly not in the original, but are included because the Church regards them as inspired.

Did the original KJV include the Apocrypha?

Why apocrypha is not a part of the bible?

The apocrypha is part of some biblical texts. Some of the information contained in the Apocrypha can not be justified with other biblical texts (just like the book of Ester) therefor it was left to stand alone as a separate work, requiring the reader to research its validity to other texts and events contained within the original texts. You may find some of that argument included in the texts of the meetings of the Council of Nicea (Ecumenical Council). It has been stated that some of the scribes of the temple who existed during Christs time (and just afterword), wrote false and misleading information which was intended to confuse and confound Christians. However they would not have been able to alter the original texts used up until that time. Any of the alterations would have occurred after 4 BC which included the Apocrypha. Remember, the temple scribes would not have had access to the works of the scribes of the Apostles. This is the thought behind the apocrypha works not being included in some bibles (such as the KJV).

How can you tell you have an original Bible?

I have a degree in Biblical Studies and I've never heard of a Bible referred to as "an original Bible." The original manuscripts (autographs) of the books that became the canon (our Bible) are not extant (still in existence). Bibles are mass-produced. They are printed from electronic copy by the company that owns the license for that particular translation. No Bible is more or less original than others.

Which books of the bible are missing from the king James version?

Although attempts to remove the 14 books known as the Apocrypha from the Bible began immediately after the King James translation was completed they remained in the Bible until the end of the 19th Century. There is no doubt that the 14 books of the Apocrypha were controversial, but it cannot be denied they were included in the original King James Bible. The concept of the Protestant Church about the Apocrypha is virtually non-existent, with the general understanding that only the Catholic Church uses it. One would be hard-pressed to find any members of the clergy even aware that these books were ever included in the King James Bible. There are 155,683 words and over 5,700 verses contained in 168 chapters now missing from the King James translation of the Bible due to the exclusion of the Apocrypha. Although this only happened just over a hundred years ago, their existence as fully accepted scripture is virtually unknown.

Why is Maccabees not in the King James version Bibles?

What is human translation?

According to the cultural attitude adopted by the translator when translating, it can be divided into domestication translation and foreignization translation. Domestication translation refers to the translation of elements that are naturally suitable in the cultural context of the original language into elements that are naturally suitable in the cultural context of the translated language, so that the translated readers can immediately understand, that is, free translation. The foreignization translation is the appropriate translation directly according to the cultural context of the original language, that is, literal translation. According to the expected role of the translated works in the translated language and culture, it can be divided into instrumental translation and documentary translation. According to the form and meaning of the language involved in the translation. It is divided into semantic translation and communicative translation. Semantic translation reproduces the meaning of the context of the original text as accurately as possible under the conditions permitted by the semantics and syntactic structure of the target language. Communicative translation seeks to achieve the same effect on readers of the original text as possible. According to the translator's perspective of comparing and observing the original text and the translated text, it can be divided into literary translation and linguistic translation. Literary translation seeks the equivalence of literary functions between the translated text and the original text. Its theory often advocates that in the case where it is impossible to copy the literary expression of the original text, the translation text can only be more beautiful but not inferior. relationship issues. Linguistic translation seeks the law of systematic transformation between the two, and advocates applying the results of linguistic research to translation, and at the same time promoting the development of linguistics through translation practice. According to the relationship between the purpose of translation and the language form of the original language, it can be divided into literal translation and free translation. According to the translation medium, it is divided into interpretation, written translation, sight translation, simultaneous interpretation, etc.
