even know the mechanism is pretty much the same a diesel fuel has a lower ignition temperature than gasoline, allowing combustion to occur simply by compressing the air/fuel mixture. Gasoline engines require a spark plug to ignite the fuel. Too much gasoline will not allow the engine to work efficiently and quite possibly not at all.
Also, diesel engines use an injector pump to pressurize the diesel so it will form a fine mist when pushed through the injectors. These pumps require the lubrication of diesel to continue to work. Excess gasoline will cause failure in the injector pump and damage the injectors. this is why there are non dual fuel system engines
Yes.
Depends on what engine it is. Gas/petrol, diesel, twostroke.........

Diesel and regular gas. Often times homemade gas by the bus company.
Germany like most countries uses both diesel and petrol.
Diesel
Yes, if it's not supposed to use diesel.
You may be able to find a diesel additive and just use the gas in the tank.
In order to preserve the motor in your CTS you should put only premium gas in it.
Diesel #2. During the winter in the states that get regular temperatures in teens and below, you should use diesel #1 because diesel #2 will gell at lower temperatures.
Depends on which engine it had... gas and diesel engines were available for that vehicle.
The same type you use in a current production diesel motor...
