There is a (non-certified) Public Accountant designation in Pennsylvania, but it was issued on a temporary one-time basis back in 1976 and has since been closed to new applicants. Those who were licensed as PAs at the time the provision was enacted can continue to use the designation, but Pennsylvania no longer licenses PAs.
