No man can literally see God and yet live but there are scriptures that speak of practicing holiness or following His commandments being the only way that God will reveal himself to you, such as letting you be able to truly get to know him, understand his powerful works, and become his friend. An example of this can be found at Philippians 3:15- "Let us, then, as many of us as are mature, be of this mental attitude; and if you are mentally inclined otherwise in any respect, God will reveal the above [attitude] to you."
