I couldn't find a picture for you, but my Haynes manual says that the flashers are located
in the "convenience center". This is supposed to be located somewhere in or near the driver's side kick panel.
I have a 1996 Sunfire and the 4way flasher is located on the top of the steering column.
Yes and it may have 2 flasher relays. I could tell you if you had listed the year.

In a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, the flasher relay is typically located under the dashboard, near the steering column. You may need to remove a cover panel to access it. It can also be found in the fuse box, which is usually located on the driver's side of the vehicle. Always refer to the owner's manual for the exact location and identification of the relay.
To replace the turning signal flasher on a 2004 Pontiac Sunfire, first, locate the flasher unit, which is typically found under the dashboard near the steering column. Remove the old flasher by pulling it straight out of the socket. Insert the new flasher into the socket, ensuring it is securely in place. Finally, test the turn signals to confirm they are functioning properly.
There is no relay. The flasher in under the dash on the left of the steering column

On my 99 sunfire it is directly to the back/side of the alternator; very easy to spot
