People call it poison ivy. The stem is like a flower but the top of the plant has fruit that looks like strawberries, but be careful DON'T EAT IT!! Most people call them poison strawberries for a reason.

my guess is that if you have a strawberry plant that hasn't had any strawberries when it was supposed to, then either your family, or your neighbors, or the local wildlife is eating them, or you got ripped off.
