i dont believe its a recall but it is an issue. you can look it up at www.nhtsa.dot.gov/
Because there is a known issue with the brake lamps on the 2003 Trailblazer. I own a 2003 Trailblazer and had to take it in for service on a recall due to the issue. Take it to your Chevy dealer and have them check the VIN to see if the recall was ever done.
There was never a recall issue or a major problem with uneven brake pad wear on the 2004 GMC Yukon. This can sometimes be a caliper issue, a driving issue, or even a brake assembly issue but it is not a common problem.
If you do not have fan speeds it may be a fuse or the blower motor resistor. For help with the issue visit our enthusiasts forum at www.trailvoy.com
if the abs light is on then its means you have an issue with your anti lock brake system
There is a major malfunction in the speedometers of trailblazers. GM seems to have recalled many GM auto's with this issue just not the tralblazer.
If a 95 Chevy Suburban's brake lights do not work but everything else does, it may be the link that connects to the pedal that has a problem. If the pedal has been adjusted or disconnected, it may also be a reason for the issue.

Late 80's ford transmissions, I believe had a recall issue on the parking pawl hanging up, but you are way beyond recall status I would imagine. Beyond that you might have an issue with having to depress the brake to engage the transmission and the switch could be bad or out of adjustment. Otherwise the tranny is just worn out.
Could be a brake issue, a bearing issue, a tie rod issue, a CV joint issue. If you are not mechanical yourself, you should take it to a qualified mechanic to have it diagnosed. Any of these left unaddressed can cause more serious issue, some quite unsafe, especially in a Chevy Malibu.
GM has acknowledged the problem but wouldn't issue a recall for the trailblazers & envoys. I have been round and round w/ the dealership over this problem. They will fix all silverado, sierra, esclade, yukons, and tahoes but not the envoys or trailblazers. Its called a special coverage adjustment. On the above vehicles they will fix them 7 years or 70k miles. Good Luck.
no recall, but there was a bulletin. wasn't recalled because they determined that it wasn't a safety issue, rather and "inconvenience." there is a replacement for the intermediate steering shaft that eliminates the clunking/ratcheting feeling.
Red brake light most likely on due to brake fluid level/sensor issue or parking brake on/wiring issue
