No recall, and they do break all the time.

In my old 2002 I don't recall any red light on the passenger side. But, if you mean on your control cluster check out your manual.

Remove the dashboard instrument cluster cover. The cover is secured with four retaining screws. Take hold of the dashboard light, push in and turn at the same time to remove it. Reverse the process to install the new dashboard light.

Because Dodge doesn't use a full dashboard grill like Ford and Chevy. A few holes in the dashboard doesn't cut it. Same with mine.
