Yes, it's called the Middle Tennessee Shell Club (due to most of the collector's and sea shell enthuiasts being from the immediate area. Phone contacts to join are the president, Jody Stanton - phone #(615) 415-2216, Joanne Futrell -615-333-6205, or Mike Davis 615-708-0424.
The club is comprised of people from all age groups and professions. There are serious collector's and people who just enjoy having a few favorite shells and learning more about them. We meet on the average of every 2 months, except in the summer, which is every other month. We do not have a lot of members at this point (approx. 12-15), however are starting to grow.
If you are interested, please give one of us a call and we'll be glad to give you meeting information and details of our agenda. Membership dues are only $10 per person a year.
