not a good one .
i have a 12 gauge unrifled barrel 500 model.what type of slug do you reccomend for the mossberg
I have a sears Ted Williams twelve gauge semi-automatic shotgun and it came with a barrel to fire slugs.
11 - 48 slug barrel
You did not specify the make of your Model 300 (there are several), but in general, a 12 g shotgun CAN fire slugs from any standard barrel. You will get better accuracy from a slug barrel, but you could use any barrel OTHER than an "Extra Full", or a shotgun with a variable choke.

Start here, it may help. http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=089Zz944
I would look at numrich gun parts corp first.
Have it checked by a good gunsmith and ask for advice.
No
No. The Model 66 does not have user-interchangeable barrels. Your existing gun could be modified by shortening the barrel, adapting for choke tubes and installing rifle sights. sales@countrygunsmith.net
nah it doesnt have to be a deerslayer at all. the featherlight is completley compatible with a slug barrel in a 20 guage magnitude. :D
To whom it may concern, i bought a 20 gauge Ithaca Model 300 with a vented rib barrel when i was a senior in high school. i am 48 now. i have checked a few places looking for a slug barrel for this model shotgun. Most of the time i was told, i don't have one but i will sell you a extra smooth bore barrel and you can have it cut down, but i was looking for a rifled barrel. more than once I was told that Ithaca never made a slug barrel for that model gun, and since high school i have only seen one other person that had this same shotgun. i finally gave up on looking. hope you have better luck than i did.
